Fees

Scouts costs approximately $220 per term, comprising the following:

  • Branch fee (Scouts ACT) of $250 per semester (two terms)
Covers Territory-wide insurances and administration costs

  • Group fee (Well Station Scout Group) of $75 per term
Contributes to hall maintenance, equipment, and leader training

  • Section fee (Joey, Cub, Scout or Venturer unit) of $20 per term
    Supports weekly activities

There are also per-event costs throughout the year, such as for camps and out-of-hall activities.

Well Station Scout Group and Scouts ACT strongly believe that no young person should be prevented from participating in Scouting. There is financial support available for any family — contact groupleader.wellstation@scoutsact.com.au for a confidential discussion.

All Well Station Scout Group leaders and officeholders are volunteers.

When purchasing a shirt, ensure you size up to accommodate several years of growth.

Scouts may wear their choice of comfortable legwear and footwear.

When Scouts are invested, they will be presented with a scarf, woggle and all necessary badges.
